DARR ke aage J̶e̶e̶t̶ DHOKA hai
Introduction
Some time ago, a movie was released
The Heist of the Century
This movie
was based on a real robbery
Which happened in 2006
At the Bank of Rio, Brazil
In this robbery,
Robbers on gunpoint
Kept 23 people hostage
And looted 15 million dollar
But, you might say
These bank robberies keep happening
What is new in this?
In this robbery
Any robber
did not have a real gun.
They only had toy guns
By using those toy guns
Robbers kept the people hostage
Stopped the police
And looted millions of dollars
That means, for robbery
Not just the gun
The fear of gun is enough
In today's episode
We will talk about
About this emotion
In today's episode, we are talking about
Fear
Today we will see, 5 such unique scams
In which, your fear
is used as a weapon
Because, the gun is not real
And along with fear
when urgency or जल्दबाज़ी is combined
Then, this combination becomes even more deadly

Man: Savita
Man: Savita
Woman: What happened?
Man: Where is your son?
Woman: He went to coaching to study
Man: Did he go to coaching or to do something else?
I gave him money last week
to pay the electricity bill
Look, message has been sent from the electricity department
If we don't pay it today
Then they will cut the connection
You call this number and get the payment done
I will see him once he comes
Poor Rahul!
Firstly, he will come
and will be scolded by his mother
For which, he doesn't know the reason
After that, the father will remove a different frustration
When the father will realise
That he has been scammed
Yes! This is quite a common scam
Electricity Bill Scam
And especially in metros
Such scams related to gas and electricity
have become quite common
So, what is the modus operandi
Firstly, SMS or Whatsapp are sent in bulk
By writing, that your electricity bill
will be disconnected
Because, you have not done the payment yet
For once, the person gets scared
And above that, it's written
That your electricity will be disconnected today itself
See the urgency also occurred
In that message, a phone number is given
Which the electricity officer receives
He says to get the payment done soon
In few special cases, it's very helpful
And tells you, Don't worry Sir
Your payment might have been done
For once, via Anydesk
give access to your Phone or Computers
I will get your bill checked directly
And at this point, the money disappears
And until the next bill arrives
Or we realise about the mistake
Until then, this phone number becomes inaccessible
And these scammers vanish
So, how do we protect ourselves from such scams?
Firstly, you need to know
1. Your Discom will never contact you with an urgency
That do the payment today
Or else the connection will be disconnected
2. Even If you think it's a genuine case
Of Non payment
Then, visit the Discom's official website yourself
Make the payment
And not on any random link
or random bank account
And lastly, any person
In regards to this scam or otherwise
If any person asks for Any desk access
Then, you should never give it to them
Hope you will remember
So, before covering the next 4 Scams

SCAM 2/5
Scam #2
Friend A: Take this Deepak Brother
Have some tea
Friend B: Leave this tea! These bank people
Friend A: Why? What happened?
Has your EMI date arrived?
Friend B: Leave EMI. My Bank account will be blocked
Friend A: Why?
Friend B: I don't know
This PAN needs to be linked
Check what's written here
Is it important to link the PAN?
Friend A: Yes! I read about this somewhere
That you have got to link the PAN
But, why are you taking tension?
We will update the PAN on this link
And leave all that. You drink tea
Tea should not get cold
RJ: Scam is different. But emotions are the same
The fear is of the bank account being blocked
And urgency that it might happen today evening
Notice one more thing
These scammers
Play around with such rules and regulations
About which, people are aware
But, they are not aware completely
Like, KYC linking in the bank
In this particular scam, it could be possible
That the scammer might have your Bank account number
Your IFSC, Branch Detail
They even might have your card number
Because, these details
Not a huge thing to be hacked from a website or app
Now, they need your CVV and your OTP
For this, they become Bank employees
Try to retrieve information via Phone
But few people know, that you should not provide OTP
For this, a similar looking
They create an official Website of the Bank
Wherein you are filling out the details
You assume the details are going towards the Bank
But, they are going towards the Scammers
So, how do you prevent yourself from KYC Scams?
Firstly remember
Again, Bank will never create such an urgency
That you do the KYC today
Or the account will close by today evening
2. Most of the customers
If you are not a high-risk individual
Then, once every 8 - 10 years
They have to do a KYC in the Bank
So whenever you receive a KYC message or call
Tell them you'll visit the branch and get it done
And you won't be that busy
That you can't visit the Bank branch even once in 8 - 10 years
And lastly, at any cost
Apart from the Official bank website
or payment gateway website
You should never share your CVV or OTP anywhere
Scam #3
SCAM 3/5
[phone rings]
Victim: Hello! Who is speaking?
Scammer: Namaste! From Data Infotech Private Ltd
Advocate Sunil speaking from the Legal department
You joined our company in regard to Data entry work
But, you didn't complete the work
Victim: Sir! I had my exams
Scammer: Radhika ji! Listen to me
Due to your negligence, the company had to suffer a lot
And you signed an agreement
Do you remember on the stamp paper
Victim: Yes
Scammer: Then you might have read the Terms & Conditions
Your penalty is forming upto Rs 26,000
You can fill that out and settle your case
Victim: Rs 26,000
Scammer: You only have 4 hours
Or else against you, under the Contract Act
A case will be filed in the Ahmedabad High Court
And a legal notice and your nearest police station
Will reach within 24 hours
Pay Rs 26,000 now
Or else by adding Lawyer and Court fees
You might have to pay Rs 1.5L
Victim: Rs 1.5L
RJ: Data entry scams on the name of Work from home
It is a very systematic way to trap people
Create a profile on any job portal
You will start receiving such messages immediately
The work is quite simple
Data Entry, Resume Typing
Captcha Filing
Such work
which any individual
Without any skill
Can do it easily at home
And the payment for this huge
For eg: To type one page
Rs 150 will be given
A document, photo and signature is asked from the victim
For Onboarding
And a Stamp paper like this
The employment agreement is made and sent to them
By the way, such agreements are photoshopped
And If you read it carefully
Then one-sided terms and conditions are written
Which is in the company's favour
After a few days,
by not offering work
Or due to offering low-quality work
Company calls
And who calls
Of the Advocate
So-called Legal department of the company
And he says, the company has incurred a lot because of you
Now you will have to pay the money
As per Terms and Conditions of the Agreement
Which you have signed on Stamp paper
If you have not paid the money
Then, a court case will be filed against you
Threat to file a legal notice against you
And a threat to confiscate your house
They can mention anything
People don't understand that this job is fake
This agreement is fake
The advocate is fake
And this entire legal notice threat
is also fake
What is real - is only your money
Which these people take away
And assume for 1% of this company is real
The bond is real
In that particular case
No company has the right
That due to your work not being done
They ask for money
The thing here is
The people who do unlawful work
Show the fear of law
are looting you
And in such scams, a lot of times
Verification charges
Registration charges, software charges
By stating all this
The money is retrieved initially
It is told that this money will be refunded
Along with the 1st payment
It will be refunded again
So, how do we stay away from such data entry scams?
Firstly, you remember
That in such a hyper-competitive world
If you don't have a skill
Then, no one will offer a high-paying job
Until you have a big connection
That too, in the further process
So, If you receive a job like this
Wherein, without any major skill
Work From Home
If you are staying at home and earning a lot
Then assume that, there will be scam
Especially, any such data entry job
Which are of Work From Home Nature
All of these are fake
2. Any company that offers you work
If Upfront asks you for money
It could be either be to ask you for a salary account
Or to open a verification, registration
Tell them you can't give them money
When you offer me the salary
Deduct anything that you wish to
I am not going to pay you in advance
3. If anyone mentions about Law
Either be it a contract, bond or agreement
They tell anything
They might tell you will receive a legal notice
Then you don't have to give them a penny
99% out of 100, this could be fake
And even If it's not 1% fake
Then we are with you
Mail it to us

Friends! Please remember
With these job portals or recruitment agencies
They don't have any such magical power
Which they can use to stop you from working at an IT company
IT companies fight amongst for good applicants
