Your system’s privacy is critical to you, especially if you store sensitive data on it. Most of us are accustomed to storing images, movies, official data, files, and other items on our Windows PCs, and we want that data to be protected from unauthorized access. Windows Defender is a very useful built-in Windows program that acts as your system’s first line of defense.

However, when some users start the Windows Defender software, they see a notice that says “Your Virus And Threat Protection Is Managed By Your Organization“ under the Virus and threat protection section. Fortunately, the “Your Virus And Threat Protection Is Managed By Your Organization” problem in Windows may be fixed.

This error is usually caused by malware that inserts registry entries in registry editor.

 

Let’s see what we can do to get rid of it.

Solution: 1- Make use of the Registry Editor.

Before making any changes to the Registry Editor, make a backup of the registry data. This is to ensure that if you lose any data throughout the procedure, you can retrieve it.

 

 

 

Step 1: Click Start and then put Regedit into the search box.

Step 2: Left-click on the result to open the Registry Editor window.

Step 3: In the Registry Editor window, navigate to the below path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender

Now, go to the right side of the pane, select the  DisableAntiSpyware value, and hit Delete.

 

 

To make the changes take effect, close the Registry Editor and restart your computer. Return to your Windows Defender software, and the problem warning should no longer appear below the Virus and threat prevention area. All of the choices are now available beneath it, and you can perform a scan or alter settings as before.

Note: If the situation persists, try uninstalling any previous programs that you may have installed that are capable of acting as malware.
