When you click the Fix Now option, an Outlook window will open in which you will be prompted to provide your Microsoft Account credentials.
This should take care of the problem. If not, continue reading.
Microsoft account issue, We require you to repair your Microsoft account.
You can solve your problem by doing the following:
To sign in, select Password over PIN.
Disable Shared experiences
Launch the Microsoft Account Troubleshooter.
Disable Action Center notifications, and so forth.
1] To sign in, select Password over PIN.
Windows 10 provides users with the option of utilizing a Password or a PIN to secure their operating system, although many users prefer a PIN. It is easier and more convenient to remember than a long password. However, some customers indicate that a PIN issue is causing the above error message to display. This problem is known to be resolved by just changing the PIN with the standard password. For additional details, see our previous post - Windows Sign-in Options.
3] Disable Shared experiences
In Windows 10, the Shared experiences feature is enabled by default, and your device is configured to share or receive solely from your own devices. Many people were able to resolve the issue by disabling it.
Select Settings from the Start menu. Then, select System and then Shared Experiences. There is a switch here that allows you to toggle the Share across devices feature to On or Off. Toggle the switch to the Off position to disable this feature. Check to see whether the problem has been resolved.
There are various different options available to you:
You could try running Microsoft Account Troubleshooter to see if it helps.
Log out and then log back in using your Local Account password or the Microsoft Account password. Perhaps there was a brief glitch.
If you aren't already using a Microsoft Account to sign in, make one now and test it.
You can turn off Action Center notifications. However, this is not a solution in and of itself. You are simply obscuring the popup notification.
You might also use this PC to verify your identity. If you have enabled two-step verification in an email account, you are likely to get this issue on a Windows machine.
To confirm your identification, navigate to Settings > Accounts. You'll find a link to Verify your identity on this PC under Your Info. Follow the on-screen prompts after clicking Verify. To receive a code, enter either your email address or phone number. This email address and phone number should be the same as the ones you used to set up your Outlook or Hotmail account.
Hopefully, something will be done to remedy the problem!
